Development and Rollout of new Global Call Center Application

A well functioning CallCenter application is an essential criteria for customer satisfaction in the postal sector. Nowadays the technical and service requirements are extremely high and therefore a permanent and responsive development is essential if you want to establish yourself in the highly competitive market. Consequently, the application was completely redesigned, enhanced by several modules, launched in 26 new countries and the number of users increased to more than 10,000 worldwide.

The challenge:
Coordination of a worldwide operating project team and ensuring that the expected quality is delivered on time and within budget.

Internet harmonisation

Following mergers and acquisitions, one key task for organisations consists of integrating the areas of product portfolios, external communications and organisational processes. We have extensive experience of post-merger projects calling for the harmonisation of websites.
On such projects, bringing consistency to external communications as quickly as possible and ensuring that customers are able to access all products, while exploiting the potential for cross-selling to the full, is a key goal. The setting up of robust processes within the merging companies and ensuring their operation and maintenance are a further part of what we do.

The challenge:

To integrate three independent logistics brands in 225 countries

Computing centre transfer


Outsourcing and the harmonisation of IT environments will often involve companies’ transferring their IT systems. This project involved relocation to eastern Europe with a view to making maximum possible savings in operating costs.
At the same time, the company was looking to make its operating processes more flexible and employ state-of-the-art technology so as to be able to model the requirements of business sectors and customers.

The challenge:
To relocate a fully operational Internet computing centre from Frankfurt to Prague. Complete new build, including migration onto a new corporate infrastructure.
120 servers, 2 independent platforms, 6 websites, 20 applications, 3,500 domains, 2 million page views per day, 99.5% availability
